Barry Matsumoto

Barry was born in Honolulu and raised in Kaneohe. Barry, grew up on the slightly wilder side of life in his youth and eventually decided to enlist in the military to escape.  Barry received Christ in 1974 through the Ministry of the Navigators while serving in the US Air Force in Germany and was involved with them for the next 2 years. Barry has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting (UH-Manoa, 1980) and an MBA (UH-Manoa 1986). Barry also took classes at Southwestern BTS under the Masters of Lay Ministry program and at Wayland Baptist under the Masters of Christian Ministry program. Barry works with M&M Builders Inc. as a General Contractor. Barry lives with his wife in Kaneohe and is a father of two sons. Barry's responsibilities at KBC include worship and music leadership and assisting with the teaching ministry.

Reid Honbo

Reid was born in Honolulu and was raised in Kaneohe. Reid first heard the Gospel as a fifth grader at Hawaii Baptist Academy. Over a span of a year or two, the Lord made it very clear to him the he is a sinner and Jesus is the only One who can save him. So Reid responded to God's call and repented of his sins and placed his trust in Christ for the forgiveness of his sins and for eternal life with God. Reid has a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering (U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, NY, 1989) and a Master of Arts in Religion (International College and Graduate School, Honolulu, HI, 1999). Reid works at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility. Reid lives with his wife in Kaneohe and is the father of one son and one daughter. Reid's responsibilities at KBC includes serving in the teaching ministry.
