Corporate Confession of Sin

Gracious Lord,

You are always good and faithful to us your people. You’ve saved us from our sin and brought us into your eternal inheritance. And yet, we still so often grumble as if you do not do enough good to us or for us. We complain because we think you are stingy. We groan because we are not satisfied with the abundance of your generosity toward us. We fight and quarrel because our passions are at war within us.

Forgive us, we pray. Thank you for always being gracious with us in our shortcomings. Thank you for being patient with us when we are so often impatient toward you.

Give us fresh eyes to see that you are always good, generous, and steadfast in your love toward us. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
